The most active of our five ministry teams at Messiah, the purpose of the Social Action Ministry Team is to support members and friends of the congregation in serving their neighbors and striving for peace and justice. We do this work through a number of different programs organized by our Nutrition Security Committee, our Community Service Committee, our Social Justice Committee, Messiah's creation and continued support of the Rotterdam Community Center and our partnership with the Sycamore Collaborative.

Our Social Action Ministry Team is currently chaired by Karen Keenan.

Our Social Action Ministry Team meets quarterly, generally on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm (January, April, July and October) in Messiah's Fellowship Hall.
