GLOBAL SERVICE

Although we primarily focus on serving our local community at Messiah, we also believe it's important to support the global work of our sisters and brothers in Christ.
Through our congregation's annual mission support of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we contribute to a variety of global ministries, including the ELCA Malaria Campaign, ELCA World Hunger and Lutheran Disaster Response. On an individual basis, members of our congregation also contribute to other nonprofit organizations with a global reach, including Lutheran World Relief and Bread for the World. A number of years ago, Pastor Dustin co-led a Young Adult Pilgrimage to the Holy Land that was attended by Justin Larrabee, another member of our congregation.
Our Children's Sunday School also regularly raises funds for ELCA World Hunger's Global Barnyard Project.
